Biography
So glad you’re here. We’re Eli & Jana.
Videographer (him), photographer (her), nature lovers, foodies, parents to a beautiful little boy & passionate about giving back to our community.
Eli here, welcome! As long as I can remember, I’ve had a creative itch, first starting as a musician, and then learning how to write, produce, and engineer music (which I still do on the side for fun). I had a stint at a music store where I learned more live sound productions and how to install Audio/Visual systems.
A few years ago, I began focusing more narrowly on producing live streams and shooting film and video for websites and social media. I also started filming weddings with my wife around the same time as a side hustle, and quickly fell in love with the storytelling element of film.
I launched Foxden to bring this same level of visual storytelling to brands and businesses. It’s an honor to capture brands’ unique purpose, origin story, and ‘why’ to share with their audiences.
I’ve had a lot of jobs, but the common thread has always been people. Having a heart of respect and service has helped me create some amazing relationships, and I make it my goal to be remembered as a hard worker and always thoughtful of others.

As a husband-and-wife team, we work together to create the best vision of what your film will look like. We set up a meeting to listen to your story and who your ideal target market is, and then storyboard what the day of the shoot will entail and what we envision for the final product. Afterwards we work hard to edit and send you a final cut of your film and photos in a timely manner. We purposefully make the process very comfortable and relaxed to make sure we are getting the most true-to-your-brand visuals as possible.
A little more about us…
We love food and can give you a list of amazing restaurants pretty much anywhere we've been. (Just ask!) We also love cooking new recipes together and using ingredients from our garden. Time has been very precious for us, so we set aside a day each week to turn off phones, stop answering emails, and spend the day hiking as a family. Traveling has also been a highlight for us, as we travel for most of our weddings, and Joshua Tree and Mendocino are two of our favorite places.
